  • Near to twenty years experience in designing mobile offshore drilling units. Extensive experience in designing new build and modifications for semi-submersibles, jack-ups and drillships. Worked heavily on Arctic and harsh environment land based rig designs.

  • Worked for Ocean Design Associates and GustoMSC performing design and support services for various projects. Member of designing team for ENSCO 7500, 8500 and GustoMSC TDS 2000, 2500 semi-submersibles. Team Leader for the hull design for Independence Hub and Thunder Hawk Semi-sub Production hulls.

  • Managed many semi-submersible, jack-up, and drill ship conversion projects.

  • Over twenty years experiences in offshore and shipbuilding industries, fifteen years in global performance analyses of offshore floating structures.

  • Lead, performed or participated in the mooring/riser designs and analyses of many FPSOs and production platforms, including Agbami FPSO, Corocoro FSO, Frada FPSO, Genesis TLP, Thunderhorse semi, Zafiro Producer FPSO/FSO, etc.

  • Managed and provided technical support in stationkeeping and riser design and analyses for drilling contractors.

  • Extensive experiences in vessel motions, stationkeeping systems and riser systems.
